Observations while at Starbucks
Some lady a few tables away also has a laptop. Only it keeps beeping like every 10 seconds. She flipped it over and did something to it after a few minutes, and turned it back on, and it beeped again. I think she swore. And it keeps beeping. She doesn’t look very happy.
Some old lady (like gradmother age) slowly walks in, and immediately looks in the trashbarrel right by the door.. then over to the condiment table (the first lady’s computer just beeped again. and again), and then started walking a little farther in. A younger woman (with 2 pretty young kids) walks up to her, says “ma’am” to get her attention, hands her a coffee (I think the old woman protested slightly, but the younger woman insisted), and leaves with her 2 kids, without a coffee for herself.
This could get interesting…still almost 2 hours till closing.
